Dr. McElveen and his team was amazing. I've never had surgery before and needed an extraction. They talked me through the whole process and he would not allow me to feel any pain during the surgery since I had to be awake. Kept saying, "Let me know if you feel any pain" constantly making sure I was comfortable. I'm from out of town and this was an emergency situation from an abscess. They helped when no one else would. Thank yall and God bless!

Outstanding Care at Charles County Surgical Arts I had an exceptional experience with Dr. McElveen and his entire team at Charles County Surgical Arts. After experiencing complications with a failed root canal, I needed to have the tooth extracted and receive an implant. From start to finish, Dr. McElveen and his staff made what could have been a stressful and overwhelming process as smooth and comfortable as possible. Dr. McElveen is not only highly skilled, but he is also incredibly patient and attentive. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and answer all of my questions, ensuring I felt completely informed and at ease every step of the way. The only people I trust with my smile is Charles County Surgical Arts. From the time you walk into the office you are greeted with a smile and outstanding customer service. Doc and his team are very knowledgeable and caring. I had a 911 dental emergency and they got me right in with care. I was so nervous as my previous root canal failed and my tooth needed to come out. Doc and his team listened to me and helped calm me down. The process was seamless and very gentle. I’m now getting prepared to have him restore that removed tooth with an implant and can honestly say I’m not scared because I know I’m in good hands. The staff here really care and I’m sending my family and friends.

I have been seeing Dr McElveen for several teeth over the past few years and have been very happy with him and his staff. His chair side manner is top notch and definitely does not want to pull any teeth unnecessarily. He’s obviously passionate about what he does, and it shows.

Hands down the best oral surgeon in the area. Was dealing with a dire dental issue for almost a month, and after going to other oral surgeons he’s by far the most professional, competent, and compassionate doctor that I’ve had the pleasure of being a patient. Literally fighting back tears typing this because I would still be in pain without any clear path of treatment. I definitely recommend him 💯

I am a very nervous person when it comes to any type of dental work. From start to finish Dr. Mcelveen and his entire team were wonderful. They are extremely attentive and make sure to explain and make you as comfortable as possible. They certainly made what could have been an unpleasant experience much easier. I def recommend them for anyone needing an impant.

Wisdom tooth extraction went well. Sending the prescription to the pharmacy could have been faster but other than that everything else was great.
