I contacted Charles County Surgical Arts in extreme pain from inability to have dental care during chemo (and lack of flossing - make sure you floss!!). The staff at the front desk was able to make me an appointment for the next day, during which time each staff member greeted me personally and introduced themselves by name. Each was professional and compassionate and had a smile on their face. I had some issues with my insurance but Dr. McElveen and staff did everything they could, above and beyond, to help me work through these. Dr. McElveen and his staff are amongst the most compassionate and caring I have ever encountered. If I could give more stars, I would. I am in no pain whatsoever, and would recommend to anyone who ever needs an oral surgeon.

Very personable and accommodating. I had major anxiety with getting my wisdom teeth out and the entire staff made me feel comfortable which eased my concerns. Answered all my questions, didn’t rush me in and out, and made sure I was doing okay the entire time. They were very transparent with the fees and payment options which I was very grateful for. The office was also very clean and had up to date tech. I can’t say enough good things about this facility and staff.

Since it's only 5 stars, double stamp that, I give them a 10!!!! The staff is phenomenal. They helped me every way possible. They were very reassuring, tentative to all my needs. I always say that the front desk sets the tone for any business and this is certainly true of Charles County Surgical Arts. I recently took my mom for dental surgery. They made her so comfortable she didn’t complain once. The Dentist was fabulous. He made sure Mom understood what her recovery would entail which I’m sure eased a few of her fears. And the dental assistant was all you could ask for as she prepped Mom for the procedure. Wish I could give more than 5.

They kept me laughing from beginning to end. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed and left the office in good spirits. I woke up the next morning feeling minimal pain.
