I had a tooth extracted on August 15, 2024, and was very apprehensive. Dr. McElveen was very professional and skilled along with his assistant. They explained the process very thoroughly and step by step, which put me at ease. His other staff members were also very professional, and the work environment was exceptionally clean, which is also important to me. This was my first time seeing Dr. McElveen and would certainly recommend him to my friends.

Overall great experience…….a little pricey but they were the first available option for my child. The team was great and definitely made my son comfortable. My only suggestion is to give a quote before hand I was able to get my other sons wisdom teeth out a few months ago at half the price at a different place they were just crazy booked. All in all great staff just very pricey.

I was nervous but everyone made sure to keep me inform every step of the way and checked to make sure I was ok. The doctor was very kind and took time to explain what was going to happen. He made sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable about how things were going to move forward. The day of the procedure, the staff was very helpful and checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. I am totally afraid of dentists, but this experience was awesome and I would DEFINITELY go back here.

Ian explained all options thoroughly and I felt so at ease as tooth removal to implant install was done in just a couple hours and painlessly! Dr McElveen talked me through each step, and they have the very best technology. I am lucky to have met up with Charles County Surgical Arts via my St Mary’s dentist Dr Gina McCray. Great doctor, excellent staff

My entire experience was exceptional. Location is convenient and welcoming. Staff was friendly and warm. No wait time. Dr. McElveen was extremely comforting to my nervous teenager. He made her entire process effortless. His extensive knowlede and experience reassured the both of us. I'm so glad that I found this amazing practice!

From start (scheduling the appointment) to finish I have only good things to say about this facility as a whole. The entire staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind. I love that they took the time to explain the procedure to myself and my daughter and make sure everyone was comfortable and understood the procedure. This is the first time I have visited an office where every individual who works there is top notch.

By far the best experience I’ve had in the dental field. from the moment I walked into the office and was greeted by some of the most personable and professional staff and Doctor. I wasn’t the only patient in the office but the way I was cared for I would’ve never known. We didn’t only talk about my needs and concerns but I learned a lot about the office and Doctor. Professional and compassionate! My daughter had a procedure to expose an impacted tooth and apply a button chain to pull it down into place. She loves the staff and their bedside manner. She was in good hands which means a lot to me and speaks volumes of about Charles County Surgical Arts and staff.
