The experience at this office is so awesome!!! From the front office staff to the Dr. himself everything is expectable. I highly recommend!!!

The staff, nurses, office manager Kevin and Dr. McElven made me feel welcome as soon as I came in. I was fairly nervous since this was my first surgery, ever. They made sure to go through and explain everything to me and why they chose the specific procedure to deal with my wisdom teeth. I was super appreciative, especially when they explained the situation with my lower teeth. Knowing I was nervous, they still checked on me before I went under and got a follow up phone call this morning! Thanks everyone!

My experience with Charles County Surgical Arts was outstanding.No pain, top notch service

My experience was absolutely amazing as my procedure was performed flawless and my follow up care along with instructions I was provided was great. After my procedure I had little to no bleeding and pain was super limited and didn’t have to take pain killers.

Dr McElveen and the staff at Charles County Surgical arts are true professionals. From the moment I got on the phone to schedule my appt to my post op appt with Dr McElveen I was very pleased with the whole experience. I went to CCSA for a cracked tooth and they took care of me the same day. Other dental practices in the area did not have any appts available for at least two weeks and CCSA took me in the same day. I would highly recommend CCSA for any of your dental needs.

I was referred to Dr. John McElveen from my general Dentist. I had a tooth that broke and I needed to get it pulled out and a implant put in his place. The office has a very modern look very inviting the staff was really accommodating very pleasant. When I met John he took the time to listen to the concerns that I had and all dental needs. He really explained the procedures and ensured that I understood clearly. Which is hard to find in Doctors. Kevin the office manager was very clear and he explained all options and allow me time to make up my mind on procedures available. I had the procedure completed and didn’t experience any complications. It turned out to be a wonderful experience and I will return to his office for any dental needs and will refer my family and friends.

Very professional and helpful with my new insurance….the procedure was explained in detail … I received a follow up call to make sure everything was good…overall excellent service… a great team

My experience at Charles Surgical Arts was life changing. They treated me with such care and compassion and made me feel like I was their only patient. Great staff great experience worked with me through the whole process.

Amazing experience! No other oral surgeon wanted to pull my husband's tooth. Once the x-ray was seen here, the surgeon extracted the tooth that same day. Not only that, he removed the stitches under my husband's chin (long story), unpacked the wound, inspected it, said it was healing nicely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The ambiance was reminiscent of a resort in the islands. The staff is "second to none". I was there as a first time (emergency) patient. I was treated like a relative that they haven't seen in awhile. Lol in a good way. 😄 Time and space will not allow me to write everything but here are some of the highlights: Highly Professional, Very Knowledgeable, Genuinely Concerned, Ultimate Customer Service, Met & Exceeded My Expectations. Dr. McElveen was handpicked by God for this profession. He went over everything, he was shock to learn how I ended up in his office. Dr. JM, was absolutely Awesome. I've always had reservations about dentist, however meeting Dr. McElveen removed all my fears, doubts and nerves. It's hard to believe I'm an adult in age but I'm a child when it comes to any medical procedures. 😁 Dr. Ian, assisted Dr. McElveen and you can instantly tell, they were bonded together for this business. Dr. Ian, was great. He showed and told me all that they were going to do. He literally reiterated everything that Dr. JM said. It's doctors like Dr. McElveen & Dr. Ian, that you wished were experienced in every medical field. 🙂 Thank you so much Dr. McElveen & Dr. Ian; you changed my mind about dental/dentist office. He offered me other ways to look into getting what I needed. Without his help and my initial consultation; this visit would not have been possible. Well, little did I know, I had major surgery on Monday and I returned to work on Tuesday. A few days ago I woke up in excruciating dental pain and needed to see an Oral Surgeon immediately!!! (Good luck with that)!!! To my surprise ,I was able to be seen as a walk in at Charles County. Surgical Arts The staff was extremely accommodating and empathetic to my immediate dental needs. My experience exceeded my expectations from reception all the way through the end of my follow up appointment. This man has “blessed hands” and it’s obvious he and staff are doing exactly what they loved. Thank you all so much.

One word, amazing! I came in for a consultation to have all four wisdom teeth removed and had same day treatment. The entire team was nice and respectful. The procedure and recovery process was communicated in detail. I highly recommend this office for any oral surgical needs.

In office experience was good other than the long waiting periods wasn’t happy that all the important instructions given to me for my aftercare were mostly verbal and given to me before the procedure was done and when asked if all the information told to me would be in writing so I dont forget I was told yes but when leaving looking at the paper instructions given to me we’re generic Instruction’s that we’re not specific to my case so when I got home I was confused about how and when to take my medications because the bottles didn’t match the Instructions given to me other than the minor things the main parts that counted the most were flawless so I want to give 5 stars but me leaving with some confusion is the only reason I can’t give 5 stars plus it was just done so we shall see if I get dry socket or Infection I’ve never taken antibiotics they way they have instructed me too so we shall see

Love this place, I feel very comfortable and safe when I come here. I had a bad experience extracting one of my wisdom teeth a couple years ago. But I was assured that I was in capable hands. And I had two out of three of them extracted on my first visit very easily. I guess one could say 😝I’m happy lol with the service. 😊😊
