What a wonderful experience the office is a beautiful clean atmosphere. With an exceptionally welcoming staff. Knowledgeable and extremely professional. Dr. Jhon Mcelveen is such a great doctor, he was able to keep my 12yr old daughter calm and the procedure was done in such a timely manner. I highly recommend this practice as myself and my daughter received a 5 star experience.

After a long absence from visiting the Dentist office, I finally faced the music and made an appt. with Dr. McElveen at the Charles County Surgical Arts in White Plains, MD. The front desk staff, makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk through the door. They were extremely professional, friendly and overall outstanding. Dr. McElveen and his assistant were very patient and understanding of my intense fear of going to the Dentist. He took the time to completely address any concerns or questions that I had, putting my mind at ease. You could tell that patient’s satisfaction was his top priority. This was the best dental care I have ever experienced. I walked away very impressed with my overall experience. I would highly recommend Dr. McElveen!!

My dentist referred me to Dr McElveen saying she thought his bedside manner would be a good fit for me due to the anxiety I have towards dental work. She was right. Every person I interacted with in the office were so nice and welcoming. The doctor was calm, straightforward, thorough and compassionate. I would highly recommend Charles County Surgical Arts!

Dr Mcelveen and his entire staff are Awesome!!! From the front desk staff, techs, office manager, to the doctor himself. My experience was Phenomenal. They all dedicate their time to make sure they're patients understand everything there is to know, And how the process will work. This establishment is very welcoming and clean. Highly recommended.

The staff was very kind and professional. The Doctor gave a clear explanation of the process and everything went according to plan. I highly recommend Charles County Surgical Arts.

They were able to get me in, In 1 week and do the consultation and procedure same day. The receptionists were lovely and personable as well as Dr.McElveen. The reason I gave It 4 stars is because I sat in the room for at least 20mins alone with the IV in and everything attached waiting for the procedure to start. Once the procedure was over I was rushed out in a wheelchair when my eyes couldn't even open. I was in extreme pain on one side of my mouth but I couldn't physically say anything or move well enough as the effects of the anesthesia hadn't worn off enough yet. The staff were very unprofessional talking among themselves in my room about their dislikes about their day/schedule. Updated review: I gave It 5 stars because, on post-op care we discussed what had happened and my pain and he got me back in same day to take care of the issue. He truly cared about my feelings and how his business ran. He truly cares about his clients, staff and business. It's a very nice office with amazing staff and a knowledgeable surgeon.

I went to have a tooth removed...I can't believe what a great experience I had. This practice is absolutely top notch. The waiting room is comfortable, the front desk staff were competent, professional and helpful and the entire place is incredibly clean. Everyone I interacted with was friendly. They explained each step of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. McElveen is great, I was a bit apprehensive about having a tooth pulled but I didn't feel a thing! I only wish they practiced regular dentistry, I would go there for all my appointments.

I was impressed with everybody there. From the front office to the doctors all were very pleasant and knew what they were doing. I would recommend them to everyone.

The front Staff, the Technician and the Doctor were the most helpful, kind and perfessional group of people that I've had the pleasure of meeting and being cared for by. They explained in detail what the situation was and how they were going to remedy the problem. I highly recommend them.

I contacted Charles County Surgical Arts in extreme pain from inability to have dental care during chemo (and lack of flossing - make sure you floss!!). The staff at the front desk was able to make me an appointment for the next day, during which time each staff member greeted me personally and introduced themselves by name. Each was professional and compassionate and had a smile on their face. I had some issues with my insurance but Dr. McElveen and staff did everything they could, above and beyond, to help me work through these. Dr. McElveen and his staff are amongst the most compassionate and caring I have ever encountered. If I could give more stars, I would. I am in no pain whatsoever, and would recommend to anyone who ever needs an oral surgeon.

They kept me laughing from beginning to end. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed and left the office in good spirits. I woke up the next morning feeling minimal pain.
