My son needed surgery, I called the office, and was greeted by a knowledgeable and courteous young lady who made my priority of having my sons procedure done immediately, seem as though it was her as well. The consultation and the surgery were preformed the same day. Everyone of the office personnel I interacted with were professional, reassuring and took the time to explain in detail the procedure, the cost, and what to expect during recovery. Additionally, the next 2 mornings after my son procedure, Dr. McElveen called to check on my son and to see if I had any questions or concerns. Sounds surreal right! I feel confident in saying, look no further, book your appointment, this practice treats everyone this way. As I sat in the waiting room during my sons procedure, I was enchanted with how each person who came through those doors was met with the same old fashioned down home hospitality. You deserve to be treated in this office...I just cannot say enough. Doc! Don't lose the personal touch we experienced, it set you above your colleagues, it's refreshingly and welcoming. This was my first time ever seeing an oral surgeon, I was quite nervous. First of all, the office is so nice, in fact the nicest medical office ive ever been to.The staff were very professional and friendly from the time I scheduled the appointment all the way through my post op appointment. DR.MCELVEEN informed me of what to expect during and after the procedure. The whole process was very smoothly, I would highly recommend anyone in charles county area in need of an oral surgeon to see Dr Mcelveen, you won't be disappointed, I can not thank their office enough!!

Charles County Surgical Arts team was amazing! Very professional team of State of the Arts Dentistry. I was so impressed from the moment that I entered the establishment. Such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was so patient and very concerned about my health. I will definitely refer others to CCSA! The team also did a follow up with me the next morning. I am so thankful for them.

I was referred to Dr. John McElveen from my general Dentist. I had a tooth that broke and I needed to get it pulled out and a implant put in his place. The office has a very modern look very inviting the staff was really accommodating very pleasant. When I met John he took the time to listen to the concerns that I had and all dental needs. He really explained the procedures and ensured that I understood clearly. Which is hard to find in Doctors. Kevin the office manager was very clear and he explained all options and allow me time to make up my mind on procedures available. I had the procedure completed and didn’t experience any complications. It turned out to be a wonderful experience and I will return to his office for any dental needs and will refer my family and friends.

They were professional and treated my husband very nice. He was impressed how they explained everything in detail and called in the prescriptions to his pharmacy for his convenience. The doctor and his staff made a fearful situation very tolerable.

Highly recommended…. I needed an emergency tooth extraction… I came in was promptly seen and had two extractions done…. Very professional and helpful with my new insurance….the procedure was explained in detail … I received a follow up call to make sure everything was good…overall excellent service… a great team

My experience at Charles Surgical Arts was life changing. They treated me with such care and compassion and made me feel like I was their only patient. The life changing part was experiencing these young, more than capable black brothers and sister giving back to their community with excellence.I highly recommend them!

Came in for the removal of my wisdom teeth. They make you feel comfortable throughout the process. Feels homely…very hard to get staff and doctors to make you feel that way. Definitely recommend visiting them for your dental needs. I will be returning 😊

The staff was phenomenal. Doc was amazing and his team. 7 teeth pulled and no pain, just discomfort. His PRP treatment is amazing. I recommend coming here. They make you feel welcomed and more.

Best oral surgeon ever! The office staff was amazing, the Doctor was patient and friendly, more importantly he is extremely knowledgable regarding my needs. Highly recommend to anyone in need of oral or facial surgery. Doctor was willing to return my phone call after hours and even came in on the weekend to manage my emergency.

I was in pain and they stayed late to make sure they treated me. Very attentive staff, great, knowledgeable doctor. Staff made sure I made it home ok and the doctor even called to check up on me.

McElveen is a lifesaver/heaven sent. I had three missing molars, after having a bridge taken out. One dentist did a bone graft in hopes of installing implants. Six months into the pandemic, I was told there was too much bone loss for implants. I got a partial denture instead. Hating the partial denture, I went to another dentist. The dentist also felt I had too much bone loss. The 3rd doctor said they could do one of the implants, but I needed an oral surgeon to install a shorter implant to ensure sufficient support. I was provided a referral to Dr. McElveen. He conducted an evaluation, took several ct scans and told me I had a difficultly case, but he could install the implants. He went into depth showing me on the scan where each implant would be placed, depth of the bone available and the size of the implant needed. Most importantly, he told me that if he did the implant and I had any problem with the nerve, he would remove the implant and issue a refund. I had surgery about a week ago and just had my follow up today. Everything is just fine and recovery is going better than expected. If you have any hesitation about visiting Dr. McElveen, don’t. He’s exceptional, has years of experience and I felt so comfortable and confident in his abilities that I paid for the surgery without the use of dental insurance. I won’t get implants anywhere else. I thank God for sending him!

Amazing experience! No other oral surgeon wanted to pull my husband's tooth. Once the x-ray was seen here, the surgeon extracted the tooth that same day. Not only that, he removed the stitches under my husband's chin (long story), unpacked the wound, inspected it, said it was healing nicely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The ambiance was reminiscent of a resort in the islands. The staff is "second to none". I was there as a first time (emergency) patient. I was treated like a relative that they haven't seen in awhile. Lol in a good way. 😄 Time and space will not allow me to write everything but here are some of the highlights: Highly Professional, Very Knowledgeable, Genuinely Concerned, Ultimate Customer Service, Met & Exceeded My Expectations. Dr. McElveen was handpicked by God for this profession. He went over everything, he was shock to learn how I ended up in his office. Dr. JM, was absolutely Awesome. I've always had reservations about dentist, however meeting Dr. McElveen removed all my fears, doubts and nerves. It's hard to believe I'm an adult in age but I'm a child when it comes to any medical procedures. 😁 Dr. Ian, assisted Dr. McElveen and you can instantly tell, they were bonded together for this business. Dr. Ian, was great. He showed and told me all that they were going to do. He literally reiterated everything that Dr. JM said. A few days ago I woke up in excruciating dental pain and needed to see an Oral Surgeon immediately!!! (Good luck with that)!!! To my surprise ,I was able to be seen as a walk in at Charles County. Surgical Arts The staff was extremely accommodating and empathetic to my immediate dental needs. My experience exceeded my expectations from reception all the way through the end of my follow up appointment. This man has “blessed hands” and it’s obvious he and staff are doing exactly what they loved. Thank you all so much.
